Ana Fritsch raises her two daughters Edith (5) and Lilah (3) in Park Slope, a beautiful neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY.
Katie (@sycamorekate) and her sons Wyatt (4.5 years) and Rowan (20 months) love exploring the Findlay Market in Cincinnati's revitalized Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. We cover their latest exploration in their favorite Spring Kira outfits!
What are your favorite spots in your neighborhood?
Our family lives in downtown Cincinnati! Riding the streetcar to our city's historic Findlay Market is one of our favorite things to do on the weekends. This indoor/outdoor farmers' market is full of local produce, exotic meats, hand -ground spices, craft beers, and yummy treats - truly something for everyone! Our kids always ask for an authentic Belgium waffle from A Taste of Belgium, they make them right in front of you and are served warm! So delicious!
What are your favorite things to do here?
Findlay Market is a treat for the senses and we are always sure to start our visits with a slow lap around the market, saying hello to our neighbors and taking in the season's local offerings. We will then typically grab lunch (and in the summer, a local beer in the Biergarten) before grabbing our groceries. And with two active little boys in tow, there's no way we can leave before hitting up the playground! It makes for a perfect outing; both productive and fun!
What makes this location unique to your neighborhood?
Findlay Market is located in Cincinnati's revitalize Over-the-Rhine neighborhood and is truly one-of-a-kind! Of course today many cities have open-air markets but considering Findlay first opened in 1855 it is truly a historic gem (it was even added to the National Registrar of Historic Places in 1972). It is colorful and vibrant, with such a beautiful, diverse energy. The market is committed to empowering local farmers and artisans, it brings people together and encourages human connection. What's not to love?!
Lastly, what do you think about the new Kira collection?
Our Kira Kids pieces are perfect! The fun prints are so cute and unique, but the clothes are also soft and fit comfortably, a must for two little boys on the move! We love to mix-and-match the pieces all year long!
Imogen (3) and Loyal (2) are two siblings from Phoenix, AZ who love all things sweet and yummy. They took us on a trip to their favorite local shop called "Nami," where they fill up on donuts and soft-serve!
Sarah Rhodes, their mama, tell us: "We are super fortunate to live in a very walkable neighborhood, with lots of cool little locally owned spots nearby! One of our favorites is called Nami (short for tSoynami). It's a vegan place that offers soft-serve, baked treats, and a coffee bar! Since we have a dairy allergy among us, this place is like heaven. And their donuts are amazing!"
Their favorite things off the menu? Blueberry fritters and also the soft-serve with cherry pie toppings!
Oh, and we are blushing! Sarah raves about Kira Kids: "For starters, how mean is it that you can't get this Yay sweatshirt in adult sizes!? It's so soft - even after washing, it doesn't pill. It seems to get better with age. Imogen loves it and wears it way too often. Hah! She seriously pulls it out of her drawer to wear every day. I love Kira Kids clothes because they're so cute, but the kids are comfortable playing in them. It's such a fine line to walk - wanting cute clothes for your kids, but wanting them to be practical too, and that's one thing I think Kira Kids does incredibly well. They're long lasting pieces!" Sheesh, thank you, Sarah!
Olive is 3 1/2-years-old and has been wearing Kira Kids since she was a baby! She's made numerous debuts on Kira Kids before and this time, we asked Olive and her sweet mama Mary to take us to their favorite spot in New York. Their choice? Dylan's Candy Bar! The brightly colored interior makes us feel like a kid again!
"We love doing things that are fun for everyone! Since it's getting cold here, we look for cool things to do inside. Dylan's Candy Bar is awesome because, well, there is every kind of candy imaginable and they have a fun sweets themed restaurant. In the restaurant you can eat in a giant cupcake and watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory while eating lunch. Perfect place indeed."
The must-try off the menu? The milkshakes. Olive loves them!

Mateo (7), Luke (5), Abel (3) and Cole (1), adorable siblings from the San Francisco Bay Area. When the sun's out and the weather is nice, they take the ferry from Oakland's Jack London Square to the Ferry Building in SF. It's the most delightful way to get into the city from the East Bay. They make sure to get a seat all the way at the top to watch the crash of the boat's wake and catch the beautiful view of the Bay Bridge when they pass under it.
A ten minute walk down from the Ferry Building is the Exploratorium, a science and art lab with interactive exhibits. The boys love running across the fog bridge exhibit.
Their mama Naomi (Instagram: @naomipq) says, "Kira Kids clothes are fantastic. We love the fun prints and soft fabric. The Camera Print Dress is so darling. The Tacolicious long sleeve gets a lot of giggles too. Everything is just so cute and thoughtfully designed without all the bells and whistles. "
On a day off, my boys Finn, Stone and Indio and I love to go exploring around Oakland and our neighboring cities to try new things. We call it adventuring, and it's our favorite thing to do. More often than not, we hit up Trouble Coffee in west Oakland for a Lavender Latte or freshly-squeezed juice for the boys before we set out. They love the vibe of Trouble; the coffee is great and there's the cutest little piano outside they love to play. Then once the caffeine has kicked in, we head out to explore!
We went to Alameda to try out the Alameda Skatepark we've been dying to visit. The skatepark was built on a former Navel base and has awesome views of the city and the docks. It really is beautiful spot to hang out. We had an amazing time as you can see from the photos!

For weeks, Sylvester and Reva (almost 7 and 4 years old) have been counting down the days to their birthdays! Since welcoming their new baby brother into the world, these siblings have even more reasons to celebrate in their neighborhood of Thousand Oaks, California!
We adore their mother Madelon, who kindly shared her favorite local spots to visit!
"We love to go outside, to explore California as much as possible. We are originally from Europe and when we decided to move we promised each other to go out and see as much from this beautiful environment as possible!
Wildwood Park is one of our favorite parks because it is so close and it keeps taking your breath away. It doesn't matter how often you go. It feels like you reached the end of the world!
The kids love collecting stones, running around, climbing on everything, and getting dirty.
Besides Wildwood Park, these two also love to go to Zuma beach in Malibu at the end of the day. They'll play for an hour or two and eat fish at Sunset Restaurant afterwards. They have the best view on the sunset.
We also have year passes to Underwood Farms where we visit to pick strawberries, see animals, and play. Of course, we go there to pick a pumpkin around Thanksgiving and find Easter eggs at Easter. It's a great place for kids and I still secretly hope to run into Kim and Kanye there one day..."
"I love Kira Kids! They are organic, have great quality, are soft, and most importantly... really made for kids! Their prints are fun! In the end, my children decide what they wear (and they're picky), and they often choose to wear Kira Kids!" - Madelon
Meet the cutest two-year-old duo in the City of Angels: Ever and Vida! We've been lucky enough to watch them grow from babies to L.A.'s trendiest toddlers! Their moms, Patty and Natalie definitely know the in's an out's of the city, and one of their favorite places is Olvera Street in Downtown Los Angeles!
"It's such a fun mini adventure at Olvera Street. It's chock full of color, culture and yummy eats! We love to eat at Cielito Lindo! They have the best taquitos in town. Before leaving, we always make sure to grab a churro at Mr. Churro. They stuff them with different fillings, such as strawberry or caramel. So yummy! There's also shops on Olvera Street that have beautiful clothes, decor, art, and toys.
We love the trip from Olvera street back to Pasadena! Going through Union station and riding the Metro is such a fun adventure for the kids!"
"We LOVE this entire collection! It's so soft, comfy and easy to wear. All the prints are so fun! Vida's favorites are definitely the taco sweatshirt and the taco pants. Ever loves all the Miffy pieces, and the taco sweatshirt as well!"
Naya (5) and Bia (2.5) love their neighborhood in Danville, CA! Some of their favorite things to do are: eating ice cream at Crafts Creamery, biking at Iron Horse Trail, running around on the grass at Danville Library, and eating delicious pizza at Jules Thin Crust!
As you can tell from the photos, the girls also love playing outside. Their mom Priscilla Gragg says, "dirty kids are happy kids!"
Follow Priscilla on Instagram!
"Naya likes the cotton candy-flavored ice cream. Bia asks for "blue ice cream" because that is her favorite color, but she loves the chocolate ice cream. What is so cool about the creamery is that they make the ice cream right in front of you and the girls love to play with all of the icy smoke that comes out of their machine. They also have a cute little fountain in front on the shop that Naya and Bia enjoy sitting by, throwing coins in, and making a wish."
"We love Kira Kids! Every time the girls are out and about wearing Kira Kids, they get compliments. Naya is the one who really cares about the way she looks and she likes to pick out her outfits. Most of her clothes are located at her eye level in her room so she can pick what she wants to wear. I see Kira Kids is a frequent selection for this little fashionista!"

"During the week, when I get a break from work, Milo (age 3) and I will walk down Vermont or Hillhurst in Los Feliz. This great little Taco shop called Tacos Tu Madre (1824 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027) just opened and they have amazing Red Velvet Churros and Fried Chicken Tacos.
"Kira Kids is always one of my favorites. Not only is the quality of the clothing fantastic, the prints are so much fun! This season is definitely our favorite with the Taco Print Hooded Sweatshirt and the Jalapeño Business tee!"
