San Paulo-born, San Francisco-based artist Patricia Colli (aka Pacolli), began her love affair with drawing in middle school - doodling classroom crushes to pass the time. Later she traded her drawings with fellow artists and threw parties inside her apartment to sell her hand screen-printed t-shirts and posters. After being immersed in the art world and traveling to Antwerp for her first show, she quit her job as an MTV Brazil producer to focus on her art full time. Her work is filled with a colorful cast of characters radiating with emotion and whimsy. She is inspired by artists from Led Zeppelin to John Waters and the magical weirdness of San Francisco.
